library bag

Some of you may recognise this fabric from a post a few days ago....well while the house is sleeping I decided to make Arthur a library bag. My first attempt at lining/reversible anything....don't look too close at the stitching.
Shop life is good. Thanks to all who came to the opening celebrations, and people wandering by.

What a cute library bag... and full of Enid Blytons too!
Glad to hear the shop is going well - can't wait to come over and see it!

Thank you for your comment! That bag is stylish. I wish I could visit your shop. Or, maybe not, because I would certainly be left with no money to feed my children!

Im surprised you had time to sew this weekend, I thought youd be down the IGA autographing copies of the age for the locals....

Very COOL story in the paper today...
keeps the turnstiles moving!
Yay for recycling baby goods. How many practically brand new strollers, high chairs etc. are there floating around in post baby bonus suburbia?

Geez, I must've missed you Shannon, wrong North Melbourne supermarket, I was at the foodtown...
I was also wearing one of betty jo's ace lino brooches in the photo but unfortunately Arthur's big head was in the way. I should've worn it on the left side.
